Big Color Output : Large Format Printing

The Miromar Lakes Visitor Center exemplifies the "Big Picture" capability of Big Color Output. Wall size lifestyle graphics grace every room. Production of the family boating 11 ft. x 7 ft. mural, for example, started with a 4x5 transparency scanned on a Howtec 4000 drum scanner and printed in three vertical panels on one of Big Color's two 62" Colorspan 8 color wide gamut printers. Big Color printed and produced the other 5 ft. x 7 ft. and 11 ft. x 5 ft. graphic displays in one piece from client provided TIF and EPS images. All were mounted to 3/16" black gator board and then adhered to a 3/16" black gator board backing creating a composite mural ready to hang. Each mural was fabricated at Big Color's facility in Cape Coral, FL and delivered to the visitor center in one piece. On site installation of each graphic took less than ten minutes.


Other Elements provided by Big Color included the custom designed mahogany reception desk and topo table.
